Meet Iliana, Parenting Therapist in Farmington Hills
In my classes, I help parents make sense of behaviors that often feel overwhelming, confusing, or personally painful. Many parents come in feeling that their child’s tantrums, outbursts, defiance, withdrawal, or anxiety are a reflection of their own failure. One of the most important parts of our work is moving away from self-blame and toward understanding what the behavior is communicating.
I am a Master’s-level Clinical Psychologist specializing in early childhood development. My education and clinical training are psychoanalytically oriented, and my credentials are equivalent to degrees in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. I currently practice under my Limited Counseling License (LLPC).
