Psychoeducational Classes Participation Agreement

Welcome to Parent Child Connections PLLC. Thank you for registering for a psychoeducational class. I am delighted to have you join us.

These classes are designed to provide education about child development, parenting, emotional well-being, and family relationships. They are intended to increase understanding, promote reflection, and offer practical knowledge that parents can apply in everyday family life.

Nature of the Classes

These classes are educational in nature and are not psychotherapy, parenting counseling, psychological assessment, or medical treatment.

Participation in a class does not establish a therapist-client relationship with Parent Child Connections PLLC or with the presenter.

Information shared during class is intended for general educational purposes and should not be considered individualized psychological, medical, or legal advice.

Personal Concerns

Although participants may recognize aspects of their own experiences during class discussions, recommendations are not individualized. If you have concerns about your own mental health, your child's emotional or behavioral functioning, or your family's unique circumstances, I encourage you to schedule an individual consultation or seek services from an appropriate healthcare professional.

Participation and Privacy

Questions and participation are welcome. Because classes may include multiple participants, confidentiality among attendees cannot be guaranteed. Please be mindful of protecting your own privacy and the privacy of others by avoiding the sharing of identifying personal information.

Recording, photographing, or distributing any portion of the class is not permitted without written permission from Parent Child Connections PLLC.

By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you understand the educational nature of these services, that participation does not constitute psychological treatment or establish a therapeutic relationship, and that you accept responsibility for seeking individualized professional services when needed.
